Agree to disagree. There is more power in listening for understanding than cutting people off completely for transgressions they clearly don't even realize are transgressions according to you.

And to state the obvious: many conservatives don't do what is written here. And I suspect the 'reasonable' ones would probably feel defensive and react poorly to this - which is understandable. I get why they double-down on their beliefs - because they are being attacked for holding them in the first place. And this is the end result = both sides refuse to engage each other at all.

We go to great lengths to vilify each other while the ultra-rich elite, comprising of both liberals and conservatives, continue to collect hefty paycheques. They don't have to implement divide & conquer tactics; we're doing it all ourselves.
