I hadn't thought of that, about how cowardly it is to put a maple leaf on your bag if you're not Canadian. That's a really good point. And actually I don't know many Canadians who actually sewed maple leaves onto their bags while traveling so maybe the maple leaf ended up unintentionally exposing the "Canadian" as an American in the end, heh.
