Oof. That sounds like Medium on steroids -- and with the added possibility for censorship (re: approval), it doesn't sound very freeing. Having to meet the required 3 quality articles per week is difficult to imagine, especially since most of us still have day jobs and other writing commitments -- plus the added 'mandatory' element really takes the fun out of writing especially when income is not guaranteed -- and is still quite frankly pretty low for what you give.
And if that site is anything like Medium, most readers will flock to the fluffy stories first -- which will affect readership and content. I foresee an eventual race to the bottom content-wise.
This could be just a "me" problem, as I know some writers are able to meet these requirements, but that just doesn't sound appealing to me.
But, could be wrong on all accounts and this could really take off.
