So true - it feels like we've lost the ability to actually have uncomfortable conversations. Everyone's holding their breath, waiting for the next person to fuck up in the smallest way, all so they can get outraged. It's a wee bit pathological.

I also wonder, have our reading comprehension skills just gone down the shitter? How are these people still getting Rowling's essay completely wrong?
